A tiny studio with a simple goal: make games that leave you a little happier than they found you.
Big Happy Games is an independent studio founded by Michael Paterson. We started with a love of the games you reach for again and again — the quiet, comforting ones that fit into the cracks of a busy day.
We thought the classics deserved a little more color, a little more character, and a lot more heart. So we built Solitaire Squad: familiar to anyone who's ever shuffled a deck, but brighter, friendlier, and full of surprises.
Then we made Country vs Continent, which is the same idea pointed at geography — a quiz you can play one-handed on a bus, built around the fact that you already know more of the world than you think you do.
There's more on the way.

If a feature doesn't make the game more fun or more welcoming, it doesn't make the cut.
No nagging, no pressure. Ads are optional and the core game plays fully offline.
We collect as little as we can, we never sell your personal information, and we don't ask for anything the game doesn't need.
Characters with actual personality, smooth animation, and layouts that fit any screen. The small stuff is the point.
