Privacy Policy

Straightforward answers about what we collect and why.

Effective date: July 12, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Big Happy Games ("Big Happy Games," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our website and games, including Solitaire Squad (bundle id com.frailproductions.solitaire) (together, the "Services"). We keep data collection to a minimum, there are no accounts to create, and we never sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Support messages. If you contact us, we receive your email address, your message, and any details you choose to share (such as your device model or a description of a problem).

Information collected automatically

  • Game data. Your current game, stars, unlocked characters, statistics and settings are stored locally on your device. We don't require an account and this data isn't tied to your identity.
  • Analytics & diagnostics. We use Google Firebase to collect aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics and crash/performance reports (for example, app version, device type, OS version, general region, and which features are used) so we can fix bugs and improve the game.
  • Advertising data. We use Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads. Depending on your settings and consent, AdMob and its partners may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not require your name, email, phone number, or address to play.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region).
  • We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To save your game progress on your device.
  • To diagnose crashes and problems and keep the Services secure.
  • To show optional rewarded advertising and grant the rewards you earn.
  • To respond to your support requests.

3. Advertising

The game includes an optional rewarded ad: once per session you may choose to watch a short video to earn extra stars, or decline and simply take a single star. Ads are served by Google AdMob. On iOS you control ad tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and your device's privacy settings. You can learn more about Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

4. How we share information

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. Trusted companies that help us run the Services — principally Google (Firebase analytics/crash reporting and AdMob advertising) — acting under their own privacy terms.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, the public, or Big Happy Games.
  • Business transfers. If Big Happy Games is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

Game data lives on your device; deleting the app removes it. Analytics and crash data are retained by our providers for a limited period per their policies. Support emails are retained for a reasonable period so we can help with follow-up questions.

6. Your rights & choices

  • Ad & tracking choices. Decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt and adjust tracking in your device settings at any time.
  • Access & deletion. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access or delete your personal information. Because we don't hold accounts, the simplest way to remove local data is to delete the app.
  • Contact us. Email privacy@bighappygames.com and we'll respond as required by applicable law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll provide a more prominent notice.
