Straightforward answers about what we collect and why.

Effective date: July 12, 2026 · Last updated: August 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Big Happy Games ("Big Happy Games," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use this website and any app we publish (together, the "Services"). It applies to every one of our apps — current and older — so it covers whichever one brought you here. On the App Store our apps are listed under the developer name Frail Productions, which is the same studio.
Our apps differ from one another, and this policy describes the full range of what any of them may do. To see what a particular app actually collects, check the App Privacy section on its App Store product page — Apple requires that to be specific and current for each app, and it is the most precise answer for the app in front of you.
A few of our apps were published years ago and are no longer updated. They were built with the advertising and analytics tools that were standard at the time, which means they may display ads in formats our newer apps don't use, may include a third-party analytics service, and predate the ad and tracking controls described in section 3. If you'd like to know what a specific older app includes, email us and we'll tell you what we know.
Our apps are free, and advertising is how they're paid for. Ads are served by Google AdMob and may appear in different formats depending on the app — including rewarded videos you choose to watch in exchange for something in the app, and ads shown as part of normal play.
Tracking is yours to control. On iOS, an app must ask your permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites, and it can only use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) if you agree. If an app never asks, or you decline, it does not receive that identifier. Ads may also be measured with Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports installs and conversions to us in aggregate rather than individually. You can review and change tracking permissions for every app at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and limit ad personalization in your Google account settings.
Older apps, as noted above, were built before these controls existed and may behave differently. You can learn more about Google's advertising practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Some of our apps offer in-app purchases or paid downloads. Any payment is handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account — we never see or receive your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID. We may receive confirmation that a purchase was made, so we can deliver what you bought and restore it later.
We share information only in these limited situations:
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some privacy laws define "selling" or "sharing" broadly enough to cover the information advertising partners receive in order to show you relevant ads; section 7 explains how to limit that.
We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires. Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. Where an app stores data with us or a provider, we keep it while the app is in use and delete it on request. Analytics and crash data are retained by our providers for a limited period per their policies. Support emails are retained for a reasonable period so we can help with follow-up questions.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our apps are made to be enjoyed by a wide audience. Each app's age rating and category are shown on its App Store product page.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 (or the equivalent age where you live) without verifiable parental consent, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and comparable laws.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, email privacy@bighappygames.com and we will delete it promptly.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll provide a more prominent notice.
